Erik's style emphasizes the importance of starting with a strong foundation (grip, stance, and posture), followed by an understanding of the swing dynamics and what each individual needs to accomplish to better their swing.
Erik turned professional in 1994 and has a vast understanding of the golf swing. Erik has studied the swing under the eye of many top professionals, namely Hank Haney. Other mentors also include Adam Schreiber (swing coach for PGA Tour star Anthony Kim) and Stan Sayer (Director of Instruction for Mike McGetrick's Golf Academy).
Erik also played professionally from 1994-1998 during which time he was a member of the Asian tour, Canadian tour and the Hooters tour. Erik is currently the swing coach for The Holy Names University Men's golf team as well as many top mini-tour professionals, amatuers and top junior golfers in the Greater Bay Area.
